Leah Whitley is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. She prides herself in providing quality breastfeeding care within 24 hours of initial contact with mothers. She has acted in many capacities including: writing breastfeeding curriculum, facilitating support groups, working at a milk bank, private consultations, as well as teaching private and group classes. Leah discovered her passion for breastfeeding after the birth of her eldest daughter. With nearly a decade of experience, Leah has taught classes and facilitated consultations with thousands of new Houston parents and babies at The Women’s Hospital of Texas, Memorial Hermann in the Medical Center, LBJ Hospital, The Birthing Place Birth Center as well as all Breastfeeding Education classes at Texas Children’s Pavilion for Women. Additionally, Leah is also a Certified Childbirth Educator, therefore she understands the relationship between childbirth and breastfeeding. Her ultimate goal is to facilitate happy, healthy babies while simultaneously providing the tools and support new moms need to be successful. She currently lives in Houston with her husband and three young daughters.
